Dani’s lessons are fun, engaging, and quietly rigorous. Students of all ages grow into competition-ready musicians, performing Beethoven sonatas, competing at jazz festivals, and building real musicianship. With over a decade of experience, Dani meets you exactly where you are, and takes you somewhere you didn’t expect.
Lessons Built Around Real Music

Preparing for an audition or festival is about more than memorizing notes. Dani works with students on musical interpretation, stage confidence, and resilience under pressure. Mock performances, detail-oriented feedback, and a focus on making the music feel alive rather than just correct. Dani also works with students outside their regular studio who seek out focused coaching before a big performance.
Good technique isn’t just about speed or accuracy, it starts with comfort. Dani focuses on building a relaxed, tension-free relationship with the instrument, because if you aren’t playing fluid, you aren’t going to sound fluid. Scales, chords, and arpeggios are taught alongside relevant etudes so that technical exercises live in real music, not just in isolation.
From Bach fugues and Beethoven sonatas to Bad Bunny and Vampire Weekend, Dani’s students work on music they actually care about. Classical students explore a wide range of repertoire spanning centuries of piano literature. Students less interested in the classical canon get custom arrangements of their favorite songs, each one carefully designed to build new skills and increase in difficulty over time. Either way, the music is always the point.
Whether you’ve always wanted to play Misty, Autumn Leaves, or Summertime, or you’re chasing the more adventurous sounds of Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock, there’s a place for you here. Lessons cover the building blocks of jazz harmony and improvisation, starting simple and growing as complex as the student wants to go. Swing, blues, bebop, fusion, if it’s jazz, Dani teaches it.
Learning to play by ear is one of the most rewarding skills a musician can develop. Students learn to read chord charts, build their own arrangements, and develop their ear. With enough practice, many students can sit down and learn a song just by listening to it a few times. Lessons cover left hand accompaniment, melody embellishment, and how to make a song your own. No sheet music required.
Music education starts earlier than most people think. Lessons for young students focus on building a joyful, pressure free foundation, clapping rhythms, playing simple songs, exploring the piano freely, and beginning to understand how music works. Students start to identify intervals, practice basic hand coordination, and improvise using simple scales. Even notation starts early, with fun exercises like drawing treble clefs and note values. The goal is to make music feel natural, exciting, and theirs from the very beginning.
Adult beginners come with one thing kids don’t: a clear idea of what they want to play. Dani works with adult students to build a realistic plan around short and long term goals, keeping lessons engaging, flexible, and focused on results. Progress looks different for every adult student, and that’s okay. Whether you’re in it for the long haul or just want to finally learn that one song, there’s a place for you here.
These lessons are for the songwriter or beginner who wants to get comfortable on a new instrument fast. No conservatory stuff here, just the theory, technique, and skills you actually need to write and play your own music. Bring a song you love and Dani will help you break it down, figure out what makes it work, and use it as a jumping off point for your own writing. Over time, many students have grown into confident, well-rounded players.
